The Stancor explosion proof manual control is built with a combination circuit breaker / overload / disconnect, allowing a threefold function:

• manual On/Off switch
• motor short-circuit protection
• motor overload protection

The circuit breaker will trip when one of the above occurs. The breaker has to be manually reset.
